We all had a great time in Colorado meeting Judah and Levi and also visiting with family and friends!!!

Uncle Adam and Aunt Katie adopted Judah and Levi in November from Rwanda. We got to meet them for the 1st time in Colorado in January! Brayden seemed to enjoy playing with his new cousins!

Christmas Day

Brayden spent almost all of Christmas Day playing with his train table that he got from Santa! Now, he doesn't have to go to the store to play with the trains, he can stay home and play!!


Even his cars can drive on the train tracks!

Mom didn't need all that stuff in the basket, it is put to better use with me sitting in it, reading a book!

Christmas 2009

The Christmas season started out on a sad note for us, as Brian's Grandfather died on December 10th. We made an unexpected trip to Colorado for the funeral. It was a nice service in remembrance of Grandpa Jim. When we returned to California, we were busy finishing up last minute shopping and preparations for Christmas.

Brayden was unfortunately a bit under the weather for about a week, including Christmas. Despite not feeling well, he enjoyed Christmas very much this year.

We took Brayden out to see Christmas lights on the 23rd, as we were afraid that he would be too tired after church on Christmas Eve, which turned out to be a good choice with him feeling yucky!

He had many "wow's" to say about all the lights!

On Christmas Eve, we spent the day together as a family, went to church, opened some gifts and after Brayden went to bed, Brian and I spent the evening snacking on Cheese, crackers, and wine and tackling putting together Brayden's train table!!
